Job Description

Position Overview:

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing incoming communications, and supporting general office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and able to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish.

Schedule and Pay:

M-F 8:30AM-5PM

$19/HR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information in English and Spanish
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
  • Support office staff with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintain visitor logs and follow company security procedures
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (required) - strong verbal and written communication in both languages
  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative support preferred
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic proficiency with computers, including email, calendars, and Microsoft Office

  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
